Irish Towing Services specialises in the recovery of vehicles which have crashed or broken down and in providing roadside assistance on behalf of a large customer base which includes such organisations as An Garda Siochana, AA, RAC, Aviva, AXA Assist and leading European insurance groups.

It provides a 24-hours a day, 365-days a year service, primarily in the Greater Dublin area and surrounding counties. Based at the Western Industrial Estate off the Naas Road, the company has easy access to the M50 Motorway and all major routes in and around Dublin city and county.

One of the longest established businesses in its sector – it was formed by Alan Sherwood in 1986 – Irish Towing Services has a 28-strong staff and a fleet of 11 customised vehicles capable of recovering everything from a motorcycle to an HGV.

In addition to its expertise in vehicle recovery, Irish Towing Services also provides a large secure vehicle storage area on its 2.5 acre complex, has a licensed waste permit and is an Authorised Treatment Facility for end-of-life vehicles.

It also offers a mobile crane services and garage repairs, body repairs and car rental facilities. The company is a member of the Society of Irish Motor Industry, the Association of Vehicle Recovery Operators and the International Federation of Recovery Specialists. It is also a member of the highly respected Institute of Vehicle Recovery in the UK and all ITS employees are trained at the IVR to the highest European standards
